well if you are athlete, in some communities and universities, it is unfortuante you get a hall pass on most misconduct short of murder.
I have a son that was a star athlete in a community outside of Cleveland and I warned him that if something like that happens at one
of the parties that he attends, that he was too step in and stop it. Having been a college athlete at a major university I have seen my
share of athletes gettin away with misconduct, but nothing on the scale of what you have here, if all is true. It really is ahame.

When I was 12, I was raped by a 40 something year old woman at my then gf's house. AS I grew up I was lucky enough to have a great family behind me bc I went off the deep end. This goes on everywhere, in every high school across the country. To start, I am a female. Thirteen years ago I attended Aubrey High School in Aubrey, Texas. I was repeatedly harassed by a member of the Baseball team throughout the year, culminating in a note he passed to me, which I responded to and passed back. The (female) Algebra teacher saw, read the note and sent me to the (female) Principal. They were going to suspend me because I wrote 'Go suck a donkey dick' in response to his #947th plea for a blowjob. I responded with her threat by stating that she would have to call my mom and discuss this with her, and I would only consent to signing the form if my mother was present.

Yeah, when I was a teenage girl (about 17-19) I did stupid things like drink and smoke weed with my best friend, her boyfriend and a large group of his male friends, at the house her boyfriend owned. Multiple people would even spend the night every weekend, passing out on the couches or in the spare bedroom. Stupid behavior, I know. But never at any time did I so much as feel even remotely threatened by any of the guys we hung out with. There were often propositions, but when I made it clear I wasn't interested, they left it at that. The one instance that one of the guys was acting inappropriately, by drawing a dick on my passed-out sister's jeans (more funny than malicious) the other guys made him stop. Then again, these guys were more academic-types/"nerds" rather than athletes, so maybe therein lies the discrepancy.

Either way, the kind of misogynistic, sociopathic behavior those football players in Steubenville engaged in is not merely a product of intoxication and boredom. Our town was abysmally boring and kids did stupid, reckless things all the time, but even someone like myself, who put themselves in a vulnerable position on a weekend-ly basis, never got raped. There's obviously something much more sinister going on here as localleaks pointed out by talking about their economic situation in Steubenville. But it's hard to tell if it's rampant local football fandom or the money that fandom brings in (or both) that has made these football players so untouchable in their community.

Even going as far to cut band, art, and other non sport activities that do not involve football, because of budget cuts. Several years ago they upgraded their Big Red Stadium big time. Hello, my name is Wesley Manfred Wadien 11/08/1983. I am in good but deteriorating health (radiation poisoning) . In the 1960‘s my mother (Carol Isaac) participated in non-violent demonstrations in Canada and the U.S. to end segregation / G.M.O. products. My Father immigrated from Germany with his family. His father had been forced to fight for the Germans. As a result of her (Mother) participation in these demonstrations... and my Fathers history. I have been on C.S.I.S.’s blacklist since birth. At 3 months into my pregnancy my Mother went to the hospital as a result of pains in her belly. An ultrasound was done and the doctor realized that my fraternal twin was deceased. I don’t want to solely give you my opinions but there is quite a bit of literature available which speaks of using directed electromagnetic energy (G.W.E.N. tower system) for the purpose of controlled miscarriages /induced autism etc. in developing fetus’s who’s parents are deemed a threat to a federal cover-ups going on for as long as 80 years now. Going through school I was picked on (students and teachers), if you watch William Shatners “Weird or What” . He does a show on chips assembled in people by nanomites (For purposes of mind control) which are “carpet bombed” over populated areas by planes (Chem-Trails). His show also goes into how the C.I.A. / C.S.I.S. uses this technology to turn a group of people against a person so they can effectively destroy a person without having to “break cover”. So I was picked on through school (students and teachers) . Usually a A to A+ student, my Mother even caught me a couple times under my covers with a flashlight doing math to get ahead of my class. In grade 4 I had a teacher (Mrs.Vandoggen) who would treat me violently. Numerous times she would walk up behind me in class and slam my head against the desk. I was home schooled a couple years after that but my Mother could not take care of the home, animals, and teach me so I returned to school. Again in grade 8 when I was suspended for petitioning to have another violent teacher that had “found” me removed from the school. As a result of this my grades turned to barely passing. Hard to learn from people you don’t respect. In grade 9 we were given aptitude testing. Even with my depression and poor attitude towards trying my tests still recommended a field of medical science. Within 2 months after that I was expelled for having too many late’s to classes. 12 late’s = an absence (6 for half credit courses) 12 absences from a class (6 for half credit) and you were kicked out of it. The school did not provide enough time to go to your locker and change books between classes. Not when your locker is upstairs on the opposite end of the school your classes were at. I was literally physically removed from school property by our 2 month new principal Ken Pierce. I started going to the Adult Learning Center in Stonewall after that and my grades went immediately from failing to mid 80's in all subjects. 4 months after I started schooling there, I was in a camper that blew up as a result of a leaking propane line. I spent the next 4 weeks in the Health Sciences Children’s Burn Unit with 1st 2nd and 3rd degree burns. After this my life completely fell apart. My parents separated. I was living by myself at 16, working at All Fab in Stony Mountain to pay for groceries and gas. My parents had their hands full with their own problems. 2 years after living on my own C.S.I.S. made their first attempt at using the mental health act on me to drug me into a permanent stupor. They failed but created serious relationship issues with my family for me. At this point in my life, little education, no job, no support or help. I fell into criminal and habitual drug use behaviors. Not too long ago I started looking into Chem-Trails as a result of seeing airplanes flying grid patterns non-stop in our sky. Soon after this C.S.I.S. tried the mental health act on me again. This time a “Mental Health Practitioner” arranged “secret” meetings (I was not allowed to know about them) with my family in which he tried to convince them I would benefit from a weekly forcible injection in a mental institution to “calm me down” . They failed again. The 4ft by 5ft sign at the end of our driveway at 12 Houghton Bay Road Petersfield Manitoba which reads ”STOP CHEM TRAILS” in silver metallic paint still remains and will continue to for as long as I reside here. I have had numerous good jobs which always fell apart for no good reason at all. At least now I know why. I now realize the depth of what I’m involved in and I will not stop until I see C.S.I.S.’s director Richard Fadden tried for Crimes Against Humanity. The main problem I have is every bridge I had/has has been burned. Every resource I had/have is completely tapped. I realized almost too late what was making my life fail. I am now off drugs, I don’t drink anymore. I have a girlfriend who has 3 kids from a previous relationship and is now pregnant with our baby. We live in the country. I have no license. I lose more than I make driving to Winnipeg for work as a result of tickets and tow bills. I get selectively targeted for “spot checks” with no probable cause on a regular basis. I am currently starting to circulate a information handout. This will go door to door / city to city. This handout details past and present crimes of our Canadian Security and Intelligence Service. After I handed out the first 1000 I was bedridden with a nasty viral and viciously pounded into the ground with electromagnetic energy/radiation. If I had the money I could get proper (un-biased) blood work done to test for cell division among other things. At that point I would have enough evidence to file a lawsuit against C.S.I.S. . Right now however my priority is preventing a Progressive Conservative (C.S.I.S.) majority government for the next election . I am flat broke but have the drive and determination to see this through to the end. At worst myself and the people helping me with handouts will get 1-2 major cities done before were all arrested and charged with civil disobedience. I have a good lawyer (Darren Sawchuck) . I have given him a copy of the handout and have gone over my plan with him. A case of that magnitude will make it to the supreme court and will make headlines. Either way its a win for the good side. They are trying hard to cover this stuff up and at this point I would gladly give my life to prevent this from happening. C.S.I.S. will never stop until I’m dead. So neither will I. Help me to make this country safe for our kids to grow up in. Our basic human rights and freedoms our slowly disappearing and their using these chips to control people to not care about it. Lets make sure it does not get any worse. Thank you for your consideration and stay healthy.

As someone working in the aviation industry I feel I must educate you about contrails. As a wing generates lift, it causes a vortex to form at each wingtip, and sometimes also at the tip of each wing flap. These wingtip vortices persist in the atmosphere long after the aircraft has passed. The reduction in pressure and temperature across each vortex can cause water to condense and make the cores of the wingtip vortices visible. This effect is more common on humid days. Wingtip vortices can sometimes be seen behind the wing flaps of airliners during takeoff and landing.

The visible cores of wingtip vortices contrast with the other major type of contrails which are caused by the combustion of fuel. Contrails produced from jet engine exhaust are seen at high altitude, directly behind each engine. By contrast, the visible cores of wingtip vortices are usually seen only at low altitude where the aircraft is travelling slowly after takeoff or before landing, and where the ambient humidity is higher. They trail behind the wingtips and wing flaps rather than behind the engines.

Physical evidence in form of fibres and chemical residues and photos of aircraft modified to disseminate liquid materials to the atmosphere in flight.Also evidence of criscross patterned basketweave pattern residue trails obviously not a result of normal air traffic patterns.Contrails are as tou say a result of routine air traffic. There are also a number of reasons aircraft fly in patterns or may even spray stuff.

Geomagnetic survey, where specially fitted aircraft survey for minerals beneath the ground, often using equipment hanging from wires beneath the plane at low altitude.

Crop dusting, these planes actually spray chemicals deliberately over crop land, pests (locusts etc.), weeds. These chemicals aren't necessarily safe as they are designed to kill their intended targets.

Photographic survey, using different wavelengths of light to detect soil make up including lack of essential minerals and nutrients for purposes like fertiliser application in agriculture.

Cloud seeding, using a material like aluminium oxide (I think it's oxide from memory?) to help water vapour condense in clouds to produce rain in areas where there is high terrain and water storage/hydroelectricity plants. It is also performed over some flat areas of land, though often near high terrain such as hills and ranges. Cloud seeding is pretty expensive and not very effective in most locations, though can slightly increase rainfall given the right topography. There are some concerns over the safety of materials used and any potential effects they may have.

I'm not advocating that you necessarily trust planes flying over your land/house (especially if it's mining exploration companies surveying your farmland), however not all aircraft and pilots are up to no good. It could be fire spotting aircraft, recreational or transport, maybe wildlife survey or photography, police (they might be looking for your dope crop, not good in that case)...

...or it might just be someone spying on you so you should probably paint a message on your roof in big letters.

I have always been proud of where I'm from and of the high school I went to but with the recent criminal behavior I must admit that I feel ashamed to tell people that I went to school there. I have some personal issues with the current administration due to my kids attendance their a couple of years ago and am proud that we pulled my kid to a different school district. If the administration that I grew up with was still there you wouldn't have a lot of these issues taking place. I agree with your stance and agree that somebody should be punished. I am sickened that this girl's life was ruined, and even more disgusted that those protecting the accused are either blaming her or hiding the truth. I live in Weirton, where this girl lives. Our town's officials recently held a candlelight vigil for those affected by the recent CT shooting, but NOTHING was done for this girl! The girl she was died that night. She will never be who she was. She will never be who she thought she would be. Where are the vigils and prayers for her?
Where are the churches? The girl involved is a Catholic, as are the majority of residents in the Steubenville-Weirton area. Why isn't the Catholic Church, or ANY religious organization, stepping up to publicly support her??
Sports are such a problem in this area. The football players are gods, the cheerleaders their concubines. We pulled our daughter out of a cheerleading group that was supposed to be "fun" because we saw that they valued looks above all else. "Sparkle from bow to toe" , a group of girls from 7-8 FORCED to wear makeup, encouraging the girls to look good for the football players, encouraging girls under 12 to have "boyfriends"...all of this sets girls up for abuse...as long as the guys like you you're golden. And if you have a son and don't have him playing football? Yikes! You're a bad parent! Who cares if both your son and daughter are testing at 1-3 grade levels above their current grade? Only sports matter!

I live in a small town very near to Stubenville Ohio. I think what you are doing is wonderful as I have been to the school for my kids 8th grade basketball game. While we were winning and one of his team mates sunk a wonderful shot a player from big red yelled out do it again and I will shoot you. Anonymous It's sad how society views these schools and their "all-star players". I've personally noticed in my school this sort of thing happens as well. No news of the team going as far as rapping anyone yet (but last year the whole team did do hard drugs) but I've noticed that as long as you're on the football team you can get away with being late to class, leaving the school early, breaking basic classroom rules, texting during tests, and are never punished for disrupting class ever. I'm not a part of the team but all it takes for me to get in trouble is having a rip in my pants or for having a laser pointer on my backpack that I NEVER EVEN USED! Rape is a crime worse than murder. The team WILL pay for what they did because it is WRONG. Their amnesty has finally been revoked and i hope this example is made relevant to all other small town schools who foster big time personalities with special privileges.

Anonymous In the 1980s there was the case of Cheryl Araujo. Her story was also told in the 1988 movie 'The Accused'. For a large part, it actually focused more on the people who stood by and watched, cheered, and did nothing. They were actually charged and prosecuted and some found guilty. How can it be that right now in 2012/2013, the people who stood by and watched that girl get raped.. the people who know about it and are trying to protect the offenders and cover it up, the people who took pictures and did NOTHING to help.. how can it be that they are likely just going to walk free of charges and carry on with their lives? They may not have committed the act, they may or may not have cheered (though really if you take pictures and show them off then wtf?!) but they were there. They saw it. I've tried getting the word out about this case to 5 different news sources (mainly the 'real' news media), so that the event tomorrow will be publicized. I did not do this anonymously. The only corporate media source I used was Dateline MSNBC. They promptly deleted my comments. I was not surprised. However, I am hoping and praying that somebody will cover this story and the rally tomorrow. I did hear a brief blip on CNN yesterday, but as of yet, have not seen this story covered nationwide. James Parks, owner of the fan site, supposedly lives on Sunset Blvd in Steubenville, OH, no more than two or three miles from the high school.
Reno Saccoccia, team coach, supposedly lives fairly close on Orchard St.
It's my assumption that the Sheriff, who is equally guilty of not assisting the victim, lives on the corner of Bellview Blvd and Ohio St (of the same town, Steubenville).

Steubenville has had a reputation for political corruption. The U.S. Department of Justice alleged that the city and police force had subjected numerous individuals to "excessive force, false arrests, charges, and reports" and had engaged in practices regarding "improper stops, searches, and seizures." The report from the Department also stated that excessive force was levied against individuals who witnessed incidents of police misconduct, and against those who were known critics of the city and its police force. Those individuals were also falsely detained if the city and the police agreed that they were "likely to complain of abuse." It also stated that the officers involved also falsified reports and tampered with official police recorders so that "misconduct would not be recorded."[7][8]

Over a period of 20 years the city lost, or settled out of court, 48 civil rights lawsuits involving its police force. The city paid out more than $800,000, $400,000 of which was between 1990 and 1996. As a result, the city's police force became the second city in the United States to sign a consent decree with the federal government due to an excessive number of civil rights lawsuits. The decree was signed on September 4, 1997 under the "pattern or practice" provision. Under this agreement, the city agreed to improve the training of its police officers, implement new guidelines and procedures, establish an internal affairs unit, and establish an "early warning system."

I watched the rally today in Steubenville via Ustream and I am so proud of every one who showed up to support the victim. I live 1000+ miles away now, but I did work and live in Steubenville for over 20 years. Most of the people I knew there were good people. There were so many other rape victims from the past that spoke of their ordeals today. It made me cry. That takes a lot of courage!

Injustice is everywhere, but THERE IS SOMETHING that WE as individuals CAN DO. Today was a fine example of THE RIGHT WAY TO GET JUSTICE. Anonymous I was in Columbus, Ohio a few years ago on the weekend that Ohio State University played Michigan University in football. The game was to be played in Michigan. The city began preparing three days before the game for the riot they expected if Ohio State lost the game. There did not appear to be any feeling that a riot was not acceptable or that destruction of property and injuries to bystanders should not be done. I guess people in Ohio see no problem with thugs when it relates to football.

1ST TIMER: Dear Anon, what a tremendous job you folks are doing in the world. Last night, I was not able to sleep and came across this story for the first time. I spent hours research the Anon's post and one other site called bustedbitchesandinternetstalkers who has a great chronological showing of some of the events.

Personally, I am 30 year old accountant who has fought and clawed my way through life. When I was younger, I was one of the tougher kids in school but more than anything, I loved to pick on those who picked on others in school or sports. Several times in hockey, other parents came up to me to thank me for getting their sons back. My mother was a bit over the top with making us feel like shit, so I never wanted anyone else to feel the way I did about myself. Not sure if it factored into my love life but my wife is a ADA and she was the head of felony child abuse on and off over the last 8 years (off because it gets stressful and they have time limits).

At the end of my research, I decided that I would support Anonymous for the rest of my life as I am getting older and starting my own family. My next step, a difficult one because both my wife and I paid for my own college via student loans that are now costing me more than our condo.

With that said, I wanted to donate cash now and my efforts in the future. BUT that changed when I woke up this morning and my Yahoo email account was hacked for the first time EVER. Now I am hesitating to go forward with my support.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE ELSE. Or educate me on how that happens so I feel better about providing support to Anon. Please don't ask me if I went on any sex site, the answer is NO, especially after reading about this story for hours.

Hello,

I admire your decision to support Anonymous. I can guarantee that the person who hacked your email was Not affiliated with Anon. I am even older that you (50's) and have been very visible in our local Occupy organization for over a year. I recently found out that someone was monitoring my online presence with the help of a few tech tricks learned here (I'll post instructions for you at the end of my message).

We run a small service business out of our home. It is our sole means of income. How I caught on was my Craigslist ads were being deleted BEFORE they were listed online. That along with MANY other subtle and not so subtle occurrences clued me in. Like my comments online were deleted, for an example. This happened even though I thought I was being very careful online. The corporate IP address I found monitoring me was based out of Washington, DC.

With help from my Anon Friends, I learned about the Tor Browser, GMER and Malwarebytes (anti-malware program). Here's how to check if you have Windows: Start > Accessories > Command Prompt > type in 'netstat -a', then hit ENTER. This will show if there is an outside IP address watching you. If there is an foreign IP (in the middle column) and an 80 code at the end and is listed ENABLED, you're being monitored. That is what I found on mine. By use of the above mentioned programs and applications I have shaken them for now.

Mind you I am just an unemployed, former medical personnel, with too much time on my hands, that was looking at information that some could consider controversial (ie, Truther news, conspiracies, Anon, etc..). Apparently our government has people get on these types of sites to see who is reading them. I WAS scared when I found the proof of being monitored. But I am not now. As far as I know it is perfectly legal to exercise my right to free speech, information gathering and assembling in public (peacefully, of course). Most times I do not do this anonymously.

How our government can consider us Domestic Terrorists is beyond me. But they do, read about the recently enacted Privacy Policy, for example RE: US Postal Service (check out the Privacy Notice they want you to sign when you're changing your address). When you sign up for Comcast they also have a Privacy clause that states the government and it's agencies CAN use any personal information obtained thru them for "criminal investigations".

The only way I see that things can change in our world is to organize and fight the 'Good Fight'. Peacefully stand up to all of the injustices going on here and around the world. I hope this helps in your decision to continue to support Anonymous.

Yahoo mail accounts are hacked regularly by spam mail rings so they can use your account and your contacts addresses to send spam. It is good practice to inform all your contacts your email account has been hacked (so they don't mistakenly open an attachment with malware) and contact yahoo support and inform them your account has been hacked (they can reset the password or close the account if you wish).

It is fairly easy for spammers to hack accounts with fairly weak passwords using a dictionary attack (a list of known words and passwords ran automatically) and even fairly secure passwords using Rainbow Tables, though it may take longer. For this reason it is good practice to use at least one email address only for private communication with people you know and keep other email addresses like yahoo and hotmail etc just for signing up to crappy websites and other junk. Using yahoo and hotmail for login on online shopping sites is not probably wise practice and also for communicating personal information as someone may break your password then simply observe your correspondence without altering your password. When picking an email address use random words and numbers, "[email protected]" or something like that and don't post it on sites for the world too see as Bots scrape sites just looking for email addresses. Never use your name or Account name for email address as people will guess this, especially if it's at yahoo, hotmail or faceberk.

Even if you follow all the good security practices, your contacts won't, their computer will become infected and some worm will get your email address from their address book. Or one of your friends will bulk email your address to some idiot because they don't know how to use the Bcc: and Cc: fields when sending an email.

Use good security software and read up on personal computer security. There are some good applications to stop online tracking of your activities like VPN services and Tor, but you really need to study up on best security practices. Also ad blocking, web tracker blocking plugins for your browser, firewall that properly stealth's ports, good malware and antivirus.

As the mother of a daughter that was raped at 5 years old I cannot begin to tell you how much the system sucks. When I found out about the abuse, my daughter was on an airplane on her way home. It never occured to me what doing the right thing would equate to. I was 8 months pregnant at the time with child #2.I first called the sheriff department where I lived. I then called Child Protective Services. I then called a therapist, and lastly I called my husband. The perpetrator was my step son, a juvenile. My husband, not my daughter's father, was not my first call because frankly, my daughter was #1. I called the different entities because I wanted to make sure that all departments were aware that I was protecting my child, and for that matter, my unborn child as well.
I lived in a small town, and had basically married the nicest guy in town, or as I refer to it, I moved to Mayberry and married Opie. The wrath that my daughter and I endured was mind numbing. Statements were made to me like, "Couldn't you have handled this in your own family?" or, "She jumped on the trampoline with a little dress on", or "You need to think about your marriage", or "I think you are blowing this out of proportion". When my daughter was interviewed by the Prosecutor, she was spoken to like she was a prostitute caught in the middle of a sting. It was repulsive. I continued to get my daughter therapy, 2-3 times a week. She had to be put on medication because she had lost about 25% of her body weight, and was depressed(a baby having that kind of stress is unbelievable).
In hindsight, I have to tell you I was surprised that I didn't respond as most of parents think we would... shoot the fucker. I was so completely occupied with getting her well, that he wasn't going to take a minute of thought away from her. He had already taken too much.
In the end the prosecutor in my county (a bitch that I hope burns in hell), told me that he would probably only get probation as he was a juvenile. This blew my mind, but did nothing to deter me. We got "lucky"... the juvenile went to live with his mother, who lived in a different county, a bigger, less backward county, and so the case was moved there. Fortunately, the prosecutors didn't think it was anything but a horrific crime. They prosecuted the bastard, who sadly was only 14 (had he been 17 he would have been tried as an adult), for Criminal Sexual Conduct in the First- as an adult, is a life sentence. A jury trial, where my daughter had to testify, along with me and others, and he was convicted. As awful as the process was, and faced with it again, I don't know if I would do it the "right" way (I may go Ellie Nessler), I will say that when my little girl heard the words guilty, and watched him handcuffed and taken away... she gained a bit of herself back in an instant. That was the last day of her medication.
Her therapy continued as she grew up, dealing with different things as they came up, and with a 120% concentrated effort, we were able to give her back her self esteem. My role as her mom became one of always being at 100% alert and I became a warrior. NO ONE messed with my kid. I am sure I was over the top, and ready for a war over anything, or anyone that treated her poorly. That being said, the outcome was worth it. I have a confident, brilliant daughter who will NEVER be a victim. She is a survivor. She went on with her life... a beauty queen, a college cheerleader, and now in law school. Make no mistake... it came at a high price. Rape isn't about sex, it is about CONTROL and VIOLENCE. My daughter was 5. Was she asking for it????? The parents of girls (or boys) that have fallen prey to one of these manipulative monsters have a RIGHT to justice. The victims are given a life sentence... the perpetrators need to get the same. As for the parents of these monsters... fuck them. They KNOW their children are animals, and they choose to look the other way. Just my 2 cents.

The self professed elite however like to pretend they can keep such things quiet and that the acknowledgement of any crime in their community might "taint" it and lessen any potential business interests. Many members of local government, police and often churches aren't often known for their wisdom, and less known for their generosity and telling the truth, hence their positions. It is for their own personal interests, rather than their community members interests, that many such people seek out these positions. There are some good people, but most people are completely fed up with the misdeeds of local government, police, churches and want nothing more to do with them.

The silence of many has long since ensured that corrupted institutions have held sway over many communities. The laws of entropy however state that information will become increasingly complex and more widely distributed, there is no good reason however that one should not assist this process of distribution.

Anonymous To be frank, many people have posted valid stories and opinions, being In the surrounding area I have heard much of the events of the infamous "rape squad" and am sad to say that they are not the only ones. Ohio is actually plagued. Form Steubenville to Youngstown is small towns to farm lands and having the status of athlete is a medal around here. Me and a few friends got in trouble awhile back and being the nerd of the group I was given the severe 3000$ fine and 2 weeks community service. My friend stood up for me but I didn't care, he was a football player whom was arrested twice before on drug charges and got away with exactly half of what I paid. So the system as you can see is foul not just there but even more so in towns like mine where everyone knows each other and the mistakes one another makes. I will indefinitely be joining the protest at the town hall, but I might now be as peaceful as I like to think I will be.

Please be right about this case. I had a friend who was gang raped in college, never told her family, never pressed chargers, rarely spoke of the crime. She had night terrors nearly every night, so she learned how to function with little to no sleep.

I am also a high school teacher, I have seen athletes get preferential treatment. Grades changed or not recorded until after the big game, discipline issues not handled, if ever, until after the big game. I have worked at a school where athletes stole, cussed out teachers, other schools' coaches and players and they were untouchable because who they were and who their parents were. No matter how many teachers raised the alarm about these athletes getting out of control, little to nothing was done. Please note, these stories are not in the same category as this rape case in Ohio, but it is the idea that student athletes get treated differently, this needs to end.

Anonymous I have been following this story closely as I live in the town across the bridge from Steubenville,OH. I would think,and maybe I am just smarter than the Chief of Police, the Sheriff and everyone else who is involved in the official investigation of this case, but I do believe there could be complicity charges in all who were at these parties as well as the adults whose houses they took place at. I would also have to think that the Assistant coach,where the first party allegedly was,would be guilty of contributing to the delinquency of a minor... Now if this young lady can not remember anything after leaving her house,when her so called friends picked her up,that would indicate,to me anyhow,that there was some sort of a date rape involved. If that is the case then her friends,one of whom I understand was dating one of the other football players,knew what the plan was prior to even picking her up. That to me sounds like a conspiracy. In fact it is. The definition of the very word is if two or more people plan and/or carry out a crime. Therefore,since more than one person was involved it is a charge of conspiracy to commit rape. If,in fact, the friends knew about this prior to picking her up they also should be charged with conspiracy,especially if they did slip her something as some are alleging. After leaving the first party at assistant coach number ones house they allegedly went to assistant coach number twos house. Upon seeing the condition of the girl he told them to leave. Good call coach. He also let them take the girl with them. Bad call coach.. As a coach I would hope that maybe you would teach these kids some morals that apparently their parents failed to do. Third stop was allegedly Prosecuting Attorney Hanlins house. She said that they never came to her house and her son was never at any of those parties. Right lady. Your son was there. If you would teach him some morals instead of covering his ass you wouldnt be in this situation because he would have stopped them. Now if,these events happened in this order then that means a crime has crossed state lines. The crime started as soon as the victim got into the car if the girls led her to get raped. That makes the conspiracy to commit rape go across state lines and therefore the girls should get charged as well and since it is a crime going across state lines the feds should get involved. At the very minimum, Reno should get fired for not disciplining the other players because they said they didnt think they did anything wrong. Yes you did you morons. You let a defenseless young lady get raped. Even if you didn't commit the act, you damn sure didn't do anything to stop it.that means ,at the very least,you were complicit in this crime. I watched the video and I think the most horrified I was was when I realized just how...eerily familiar it sounded, like I'd heard less extreme versions of the same story a hundred times over.

That's exactly what it is, as a femanon (we're not here, I know), I've found despite being outspoken/intelligent/whatever most of the time we roll over and accept this kind of behavior as just another ugly actuality of small town life like rampant bigotry/hate speech. I believe in free speech, but I don't always practice.

You can stand up for yourself here, but don't expect to work again, don't expect the ambulance at your house. Don't expect to be taken seriously within your community if you can't accept the longstanding traditions of ignorance. I don't want another generation to accept that as an inescapable reality. I'm not going to ignore some old fuck calling someone a "niggerdyke" anymore just because he's from some backwards hick town or because my community acts like the elderly have somehow grandfathered their leniency towards slurs into a time where I seriously hope we've come farther than those distinctions. We are just a bunch of people, at least ANON is just a bunch of fucking people.

The whole State of Ohio is corrupt. The Assistant State Attorney General's gave immunity to three of these shits. The ones they gave immunity to would have been tried as adults. The two juveniles will serve in Juvenile Detention until they are 18 and then a determination will be made on whether or not they should any time in prison. The fix was in at the getgo. Why has no one looked into this aspect of the case?
