But I just thought that I'd bring up something to the good folks at Anonymous.

Today, I decided that I wanted to get in touch with Anonymous. That's because they *sniffle* hurt me. Ya see, a few days before spring break ended, I arrived home from a glorious vacation at the beach. It wasn't long before I decided to dust off my Playstation 3 and try to pick up the downloadable Undead Nightmare pack that Rockstar Games have been urging me to buy since October. Of course, when I tried to access Playstation Network, I was told that it was down due to maitenance issues. Out of frustration, off to the Internet I flew, ready to seek out any possible reasons why PSN had decided to clean up PSN so suddenly. The first text that my eyes fell upon as the Google drop-down box opened up after I had typed "psn" was articles stating that Sony had been attacked by Anonymous.

Naturally, rage was my first reaction. Four-letter fury polluted the air, spewing from my open, angry mouth like a raging volcano. I didn't know what to think, what to say, what to do. So I'm asking the charmin' fellas at Anonymous: what should I do? I can't just sit back and wait for the fire between you guys and Sony die down. Who knows when that'll be?! I've got n00bs to pwn in cod mod! (For the record, that last sentence was complete satire. If you ever meet someone who ACTUALLY talks like that, I want you to punch 'em in the throat and say it's from me :D)

From what I understand, Anonymous is attacking Sony for supporting some guy named George Howtz...or something like that. Please correct me if I'm wrong. What you guys at Anonymous don't seem to understand, however, is that it's not just Sony who's suffering. What about all of the poor fools that subscribe to PSN and are suffering boredom on an intense scale because they can't access PSN?

Don't get me wrong. I think what Anonymous is doing is great, and it delivers justice to the d-bags of the world like the westboro baptist church. The problem is that with this new assault on Sony, It's not just the big, bad corporation that's upset. All of us lowly Playstation-lovers have to be a part of a fight that we didn't pick.

I'm not expecting you to feel sorry for an upper-class white male from the rich suburbs of the United States East Coast. What I AM expecting you to do is to apologize to Sony for the hacking. I don't know how Sony may have wronged you in the past, but how does the boredom of millions of PS3 players justify your actions? Wow, First I must say, I just read through bout every post on this page and i'm amazed, A. You can tell the difference between an Xbox player, a PS3 player, and a Wii player just by these threads. And I believe no one here to be wrong for feeling the way they feel everyone on this thread has every right to be angry/happy/or sad about the actions of Anonymous but everyone should go back and closely read these threads..

Does anyone notice a trend here?? Seems to me like we have ALOT of upset citizens not just for the sony issue but with coporate America in general, when does it stop?? Anonymous I like what Anonymous is. Some one said Anonymous was an "idea" and I couldn't help but remember V for Vendetta. V states that he is an idea under a mask. He then shortly died, handing over the power to change the world to "the people". So what I' am getting at is, Anonymous is not just a group of people. But a group of people with an idea. An idea that could change the world for better most the time. I really enjoy the thought of a "idea" fighting for us. Chrevor Anyone with the ability should do the following to viacom owned sites. On the websites of station they own go to each respective show listing on there site provide a torrent client and magnetic links to torrent files for each episode in every season. Then attach a few randoms ads to the site (not for profit) Make sure they don't interfere with the usability of the site to make downloads simple.

Viacom will be a much stronger target than even scientology. Viacom, being a media giant, naturally wants to control the tubes. They pump millions of dollars into the tubes in an attempt to control it, and have an army of lawyers that would pwn scientolgy.
